The mission of this program in professional psychology is to prepare school psychologists with particular competencies to work with children, families, and educational systems. It is designed to prepare highly qualified practitioners whose primary role is to maximize learning and developmental opportunities for children. Specifically, the program s primary goal is to produce highly competent clinicians who will meet employment demands for services involving: 1) Assessment and Diagnosis, 2) Counseling and Psychotherapy, and 3) Consultation and Collaboration.
