The Graduate Certificate in Public Interest Design prepares future leaders in architecture, urban planning, sustainability, community development, and other fields to aid currently underserved populations through human-centered design methods rooted in the triple bottom line of sustainability. PSU's Graduate Certificate in Public Interest Design is the first program of its kind in public interest design in the United States.

Complete the graduate application, Send the Graduate School s Admissions office your official academic transcripts, Submit evidence of English language proficiency, Provide financial documentation demonstrating adequate financial support for at least the first year of study, individual graduate program that you are applying for, additional department requirements may include: Personal essay or statement of purpose, Letters of recommendation, Standardized test scores, Resume, Writing samples, Portfolio, Submit Financial Documentation, English Language requirement:TOEFL IBT: minimum overall score of 71; minimum subscore of 15 in reading and writing, Academic IELTS:6.0 overall; minimum 6.0 in reading and writing, Academic PTE: 53 overall, SAT: 560 or above in the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section, DET Duolingo English Test: 110 or above
