Program Overview

The Master in Operations Research is aimed at graduates from various disciplines who wish to specialize in the area, enabling them to analyze and solve problems through their symbolic modeling. Specifically, they are expected to develop and validate symbolic / mathematical-computational formulations, develop and apply solution methods, obtain and validate their data, and interpret their results, to support decision-making in complex real problems. High-level courses in the area seek the in-depth study of the most current and relevant techniques in Operations Research. The thesis work is oriented to the active and creative management of knowledge within the framework of a specific topic or specific application, including the use of updated and specialized international bibliography.
