Program Overview

The graduate of the master's degree in cognitive sciences must have a general understanding of fundamental notions of some disciplines other than that of his undergraduate training. Likewise, it must have nuclear concepts, among others: the representation of knowledge and current discussions about these issues, the ways of operating on representations and their variants; the concept of information, its processing and in particular neuronal computing, and the origin and development of biological cognitive structures. Finally, the student must acquire historical knowledge about the cognitive field so that he is able to understand the reasons for the emergence of said field and the relationships between the disciplines that comprise it.
