The degree of Doctor of Philosophy is available in all Faculties of the University and is awarded without classification on the basis of examination of a major thesis. The requirements for the degree shall be completed by submission of a thesis which demonstrates that the candidate has made a substantial contribution to learning and appreciates and understands the relationship of the candidate s own investigations to a wider field of knowledge.

A master s degree with appropriate research training in a relevant field, A candidate for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy must comply with the Research and Professional Doctorate Degree Regulations, Academic IELTS 6.5 (including individual scores of 6.0 for all tests) , PTE 61 with a minimum of 50 in all four communicative skills, TOEFL ibT 90: minimum 25 writing, Overall CAE of 176, Minimum individual score of 169 in all tests, ACU English Language Test B (65-74%)
