The Doctor of Philosophy (Clinical Psychology) interweaves supervised research (which accounts for around two thirds of the degree) with advanced coursework and clinical placements. Teaching methods include face-to-face classes, weekend workshops and supervised clinical workshops at the University Northfields (Psychology) Clinic and at external placements. Skills training methods include demonstration sessions, recording and reviewing assessments and therapy, case presentations and role-play.
Online Application form, ATAR (Australian Tertiary Academic Rank) or equivalent, Qualification equivalent to the completion of 13 years of schooling in Australia, Minimum 7 points in IELTS, Minimum 100 points for TOEFL, Complete a four year, or three year plus a fourth year, APAC-accredited sequence in psychology, within the last 10 years, with an Honours degree of at least Class II Division 1 (or equivalent 4th year qualification) to be a successful candidate for the Clinical Psychology Program.
