The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program is a thesis based research degree. This program is offered to applicants who hold a Master s Degree. It is expected that graduate students will complete all program requirements within four years, or five years if transferring from the MESc program without completing the MESc program. Additional Information & Requirements

Minimum 78% average in a four-year honours degree or equivalent from an accredited university (average based on last two years of the degree), Work experience, TOEFL ibT of 86 with no individual score below 20, IELTS score is 6 out of 9, MELAB of at least 80 on each of the sections and an overall score of at least 85, CAEL of 60, Western English Language Centre- successful completion of the High-Advanced level, CultureWorks- successful completion of the High-Advanced level, Fanshawe College s ESL Program- graduation from Level 5, Advanced Academic Preparation, with a minimum 80% in all components
