The program leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) provides an opportunity for the student to pursue advanced research. The PhD program requires a minimum of four one-term courses and a research seminar, the successful completion of the qualifying examination and, a major research thesis which is expected to be an original and significant contribution to knowledge in the discipline.
