Program Overview

This program will help you protect the health, safety and well-being of the public while preserving the environment. Oriented to the integrated and sustainable management of water, both in Quebec and elsewhere in the world, water engineering is based on infrastructure design, treatment, urban and river hydraulics, hydrology, optimization of uses, climate change, etc. This doctoral program will allow you to specialize in a field of water engineering while acquiring research training. The Canada Research Chair in Water Quality Modeling and the EDS Research Chair in Hydrological Forecasting and Actions contribute to the dynamism of the Department and the Faculty. Students have access to several laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and equipment.
