Program Overview

The Graduate Option in Gender and Women's Studies is a multidisciplinary program offered to students who, at the same time, fulfill all the requirements of the PhD program of the Department of French Language and Literature. In addition to the mandatory courses taken in the Department, students must take three courses of 3 credits each, which have been approved by the Option and which address issues related to gender and feminist research and methodologies. Their thesis should be on a topic explicitly related to gender or women's studies.
