The Doctoral Program in History at Western trains select graduate students to be professional historians world-class researchers, teachers, and scholars. Our faculty has deep strengths in Canadian history, the history of international relations and conflict, environmental history, and public history, with courses and eminent scholars in many other areas as well. "M.A. degree in History from an accredited university, 80% average or better on all graduate courses, Evidence of strong research potential, Must have at least a ""B+"" average, Official transcripts, GMAT/ GRE scores each rank within or above the 75th percentile, Statement of Research and Professional Interests, 3 Recommendation letters, CV, CAEL of 60, Western English Language Centre- successful completion of the High-Advanced level, CultureWorks- successful completion of the High-Advanced level, Fanshawe College s ESL Program- graduation from Level 5, Advanced Academic Preparation, with a minimum 80% in all components, A completed Master s degree with distinction in Physical Education/Kinesiology (or its equivalent) equivalent from an accredited university"
