The students enter the program with an MA or MFA, come from a variety of disciplines across the humanities, social sciences and fine arts, and benefit from a lively and supportive milieu conducive to innovation and cross-fertilization.

A Master of Arts or Master of Fine Arts with high standing from a recognized university, academic background, portfolio (for research-creation applicants), and research or research-creation proposal , A completed Humanities Fields Form, Research Proposal, A Statement of Purpose (500 words), CV, A Sample of Applicant's best written Work (maximum 10 pages), Portfolio, Transcripts, Three Academic Assessment / Reference letters, TOEFL ibT of 85 with at least a score of 20 in each of the four components, IELTS of 6.5, PTE of 57 or higher and no part under 53, CAEL of 70, CAE/ CPE of 180
