Program Overview

This Ph.D. is a continuation of the MA in Literary Studies while giving you the opportunity to acquire a more advanced specialization on an author, a literary movement, a period, a theoretical question or a project of creation. The studies are done in two stages: the first year is dedicated to the seminars as well as to the preparation of the thesis project; from the second year begin the preparation and writing of the thesis. This program offers research training in French-language literature as well as in the field of creative writing.
