As a nationally-accredited program, the Social Work Doctoral program produces highly qualified social work researchers and educators. The aim of developing such advanced scholarly and research skills is to equip doctoral students for future roles as leaders in the social work profession. The thesis study component of the program develops the sophisticated research skills necessary for an original and significant contribution to social work knowledge. The Social Work program as a whole prepares experienced practitioners for research and practice leadership in the discipline of social work.
A Master of Social Work or equivalent Master s degree from a recognized institution, (GPA) in the final two years of study of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 point system, TOEFL iBT of 97, IELTS of 7.0 (Academic version), MELAB score of 83 or higher, 2 Reference letters (Three; two professional and one academic), A sample of written work including, for example, published and/or unpublished scholarly papers and/or professional reports, Applicants should have substantial professional experience, A study plan outlining the applicant s educational goals, career expectations, research proposal and research experience, A C.V.
