PhD Psychotherapy

The program has been offered since 2007 and is defined as inter-institutional,in which the University of Chile and the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile collaborate in the formation of the cloister and in the administration and management in a coordinated manner. The Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine of the Pontificia Universidad Cat lica de Chile and the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Universidad de Chile participate in the program.The program through instances of academic exchange and research cooperation of teachers and students. The program contemplates the possibility of jointly supervising the doctoral thesis with said University,for which it is required to establish an individual joint supervision agreement and comply with the requirements set forth in said agreement.The doctorate is defined as an academic and disciplinary program in the field of psychotherapy and mental health. Both in its formulation and in the activities of its study plan and graduation activity,it maintains a training strongly oriented to develop and consolidate research-oriented skills.
