PhD Psychology

The Doctorate in Psychology was founded in 1998,making it the first doctoral program in Psychology in the country. With a public and pluralistic vocation,the Program seeks to train researchers with a broad knowledge of Psychology in dialogue with other disciplines. The graduates of the Program will be able to independently carry out original and relevant research in some of the areas of the Program,as well as to communicate to the academic community and to society the results of their research.Give an account,from plural theoretical and methodological perspectives,of specialized and updated knowledge within one of the Psychology areas developed in the Program.Autonomously develop original and relevant research in Psychology,using qualitative and / or quantitative methodological approaches that ensure rigor and a significant contribution to both the discipline and society.Communicate to the academic community and society the knowledge produced through their research.
