Program Overview

The doctoral study field is defined as a marginal discipline of biology in the context of education, seeking its own approaches to education in biology as a complex of specific disciplines in the context of the need for general education of a wide range of citizens on the one hand, talent training and training on the other. The aim of the Biology study program is to prepare scientists and policy makers with competence in researching, analyzing and evaluating curriculum content of biology (natural history) teaching at all types of schools - including teacher training universities, with competence to design solutions based on scientific research methodology.

A completed Master s degree in a related field of study, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
