The graduate has theoretical and practical knowledge in his / her field (linguistics and philosophy of specific language or language of Asia and Africa), and a good overview of general linguistics and the ability to apply general objective judgment and critical thinking also in other related humanities disciplines. The graduate has been trained for independent scientific work in his / her discipline and may be employed in professions where the knowledge of the respective language is available. The graduate may also work in the areas of applied linguistics such as technical lectures or technical translation of linguistic publications, etc.

A completed Master s degree in a related field of study, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
