Program Overview

Medical Pharmacology is a basic experimental biomedical field that deals with the kinetics and dynamics of drugs, summarizes existing knowledge in this area, and addresses experimentally topical problems in the field of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, drug interactions, adverse drug effects. The results are the basis for clinical pharmacology and pharmacotherapy. The graduate will be prepared to lead experimental research in the field of pharmacology, ie especially in the field of kinetics and dynamics of drugs, mechanism of effects, interactions and adverse effects. They will apply the acquired knowledge and experience in scientific research in the field.

A completed Master s degree in a related field of study, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
