Program Overview

The study program provides an expanded set of scientifically sound knowledge about the structure, formulation and evaluation of dosage forms. The acquired knowledge is fully utilized in highly qualified professional activities in pharmaceutical research and development, in the pharmaceutical industry, in manufacturing and control activities in hospital pharmacies and in pharmaceutical and other close science education. The graduate will gain a comprehensive, unique overview of the general and special patterns of drug formulation, their structure and physico-chemical characteristics, and the use of mathematical models to optimize the biopharmaceutical characteristics of medicinal products, including local and time release profiling.

A completed Master s degree in a related field of study, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
