Doctoral in General Questions of Mathematics and Computer Science

4 Years On Campus Phd Program

Charles University

Program Overview

The study program is intended primarily for graduates of mathematics and informatics teaching, which enables them to further deepen their master's degree knowledge while participating in current research. The program focuses on elementary mathematics and informatics, their history and teaching. In elementary mathematics and informatics, these are games that in some way link to both the high school subject and the master's degree program, and they expand these areas appropriately. In history, attention is paid to the issues of the 19th and 20th centuries, Czech mathematics and informatics. History is closely related to teaching issues, as development is also conditioned by the transfer of knowledge through teachers and textbooks.
