Program Overview

The study program focuses on the physical nature of a wide range of atmospheric phenomena and processes, which, however, also have interdisciplinary application in atmospheric chemistry, oceanology, physical geography, environmental sciences, etc. It is a unique program at the Charles University which provides a comprehensive view of the dynamic system of the Earth's atmosphere in a broad interdisciplinary context. Even within the Czech Republic it is the only program offering education in of atmospheric physics, meteorology and climatology. From a methodological point of view, a wide range of theoretical, experimental and computer physics applications are used interactively and complementarily.

A completed Master s degree in a related field of study, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
