The study of this field is based on teaching theoretical and experimental nuclear or particle physics, supported by a detailed understanding of quantum mechanics, quantum field theory, and the phenomenology of nuclear and subnuclear processes. Emphasis is placed on mastering relevant theoretical computational procedures and on acquiring methods of acquiring and processing experimental data, including effective mastering of computer technology. These skills are used and developed by the student in his / her own scientific work, which is an important part of the doctoral study.
