The aim of this program is to provide students with advanced experimental and theoretical knowledge and skills covering the full range of condensed matter physics and material research, and to prepare them for active and creative application of acquired knowledge in modern directions of basic research and relevant applications. A graduate of this doctoral program is a specialist for independent scientific work in basic and applied research in the field of physical properties of condensed matter and material research. He has a deep knowledge of relevant theoretical approaches (quantum theory, thermodynamic and statistical physics) and their application in theoretical and experimental physics of condensed systems.

A completed Master s degree in a related field of study, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
