Program Overview

The aim of the doctoral study program (DSP) is to educate top experts in physics of nanostructures and nanomaterials with a wide range of future applications in basic and applied nanotechnology research. The main pillars of DSP are theoretical and experimental physics of condensed state and surfaces, unique experimental and theoretical methods of studying nanostructures and sophisticated technology of nanostructures and nanomaterials preparation. DSP is interdisciplinary and focuses on current topics of current physical sciences such as spintronics, nanoelectronics, nanomedicine and quantum informatics.
