Program Overview

The doctoral study program is organized by the Department of Physical and Macromolecular Chemistry in cooperation with the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry ASCR and covers the area of computational chemistry, quantum chemistry and molecular modeling. The study is focused on the study of biomacromolecules (DNA and proteins) as well as complex molecular systems. This Ph.D. program is an interdisciplinary study of combining physical chemistry, biochemistry, and material science with modern tools of molecular modeling.

A completed Master s degree in a related field of study, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
