Program Overview

The main field of study is geoinformatics, which covers a wide range of information about the environment on our planet. This includes the study of spatial data acquisition by remote sensing methods, including photogrammetry, storage of spatial data in databases, and the creation of databases, creation of landscape models and elements and objects including cartographic models, spatial data analysis and landscape information retrieval using geographic information system tools and image analysis, visualization and presentation of spatial data and information in the form of both classical and electronic cartographic works and their access and distribution via the Internet.

A completed Master s degree in a related field of study, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
