The transformation of the landscape and its functions becomes an extremely serious problem of the present, a complexly structured problem. The basic aim of the study program is to prepare specialists able to interconnect the knowledge of various geographical disciplines and to fulfill the integration role based on the knowledge of the development of interaction between nature and society and the process of learning this interaction (development of geographical thinking in the Czech Republic and in the international context). This graduate is well-prepared for work either independently or as a team member in scientific, research and pedagogical fields.
