This doctoral program aims to produce experts who are able to pursue research and analytical work with creativity. It aims to expand their theoretical and methodological knowledge and skills and to deepen their ability to grasp scholarship and social reality with a critical mindset. Graduates will be able to use these skills to identify and analyze important social issues in their proper context, the links between the behavior of social actors and their interests, values and strategies, and the shaping and implementation of public policy.

Doctoral study pursues the goal of training professionals in the field of creative research and analytical work, extending their theoretical and methodological abilities and skills and deepening their critical reflection of literature and social reality, identifying and analyzing important social issues, their contexts, and actors' actions in relation to their interests, values and strategies, creating and implementing public policies. At the Faculty of Social Sciences, there is a Center for Social and Economic Strategies, which is staffed with the Department of Public and Social Policy. In both of these departments, doctoral students gain experience in research work by participating in individual research projects.
