New radiotherapy techniques including the use of 3-dimensional computer planning systems; stereotactic radiotherapy and conformal radiotherapy; nasopharyngeal carcinoma, especially its relationship with the Epstein Barr virus; multimodality treatment that aims at improving control and minimising side effects; multimodality treatment of gonadal and extragonadal germ cell tumours, colorectal, esophageal cancer, breast cancer, and thyroid cancer, and elucidation of related prognostic factors.
