Program Overview

Research program is highly interdisciplinary with a dynamic research profile, which spans from basic pharmacology and drug development, through drug delivery and formulation, to clinical trials, use of medicines by patients and safe medication practice. Our researchers work closely together towards the common goal of developing new medicines and formulations that can be evaluated in patients, hence improving health and quality of life. Within these major areas of interest encompass research in vascular, respiratory and metabolic diseases; pulmonary and intranasal drug delivery; formulation of biopharmaceuticals (e.g. proteins, nucleic acids and antibodies); nanomedicines, medication safety in emergency setting and Traditional Chinese Medicine; drug related adverse effects; precision medicine of endocrine disorders.
