The doctoral programme in Public Health Sciences aims to form researchers who are able to design, undertake and critically interpret research and advanced training projects and to assess health status and prevent the spread of transmittable and chronic-degenerative diseases within the population; promote health in individuals and populations; disseminate scientific culture and applicable research methodologies.The internationalisation process foresees the exchange of students and professors with doctoral students, research centres and foreign institutions and the organisation of courses held by foreign experts.
