PhD Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology

In the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, oral and maxillofacial as well as dental diseases are clinically and radiographically examined, diagnosed, and the way of treating them is determined. Our Department continues its studies in two different clinics, which are Oral Diagnosis and Radiology. Apart from the dental cavities and gingival diseases in the mouth, the diseases related to jawbones and temporomandibular joint, salivary glands, tongue, palate, lip, and all soft tissues are among our Department's fields of interest. The relation between oral diseases and systemic ones is also studied, and within this framework, the diagnosis and treatment planning of intraoral diseases are made.
