Program Overview

PhD Programme in Gender Studies: Culture, Societies and Politics aims to prepare PhDs of an excellent level in the areas of feminism, women and gender using transversal and interdisciplinary approaches in the different areas of research. The programme is promoted by the Interuniversity Institute for Women and Gender (iiEDG) and is offered by the Universities of Barcelona, Girona, Rovira i Virgili and Vic-Central de Catalunya. This programme is aimed at people with a Masters degree in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, although students from other specialist areas may apply as long as they fulfil the academic application requirements.
