Program Overview

Public law has moved beyond the traditional confines of the state and Europe, evolving into a hegemonic global public law, both from an economic perspective and one of social protection. This global public law cannot be interpreted merely as a neo-liberal economic regulation of free trade since, thanks to social movements, there is also increasingly widespread recognition of social, employment, cultural, educational and other rights. This regulatory field is our object of study, as global law. The leitmotif of our lines of research is the achievement of more human security through integral security and global law.
