Program Overview

At present, the demand for postgraduate degree holders in statistics is set to rise while education institutions in Thailand offered a limited number of places at the doctorate level. The Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Faculty of Science and Technology, which has produced masters in statistics for a long time, realised this need and necessity to expand the bodies of knowledge in statistics at the doctorate degree level of international standard, and established this program to answer the society's need.

Complete the application form; Bachelor and Masters degree or equivalent; English proficiency score: IELTS (Academic): Overall band 6 and above , TOEFL: IBT (Internet based-test): minimum score of 61 , CBT (Computer-based test) minimum score of 173, PBT (Paper-based test): minimum score of 500; A completed statement of purpose; Experience of overseas study or exchange programme in an English-speaking country (desirable); Work experience (optional); Certificate of awards, academic and volunteer activities, creative works, or special talents; A two-inch photograph;A copy of valid personal Identification Card or Passport ; Official Transcript (For those whose transcript is not in English; Official score report of the English Proficiency Test (TU-GET/ IELTS/ TOEFL/ SAT); A completed Statement of Purpose (350-500 words); Reference Letter (optional).
