By establishing the Ph.D program in private law, the College of Law aims to achieve three purposes: educational, disciplinary and meaningful research in the field of legal studies. In addition to following up with the latest comparative legal systems and benefiting from everything new in the field of legal knowledge and skills. It aims also to develop the national qualified people in the country as it adopts the concept of strategic planning in all areas. Besides, this program is concerned with the human development of qualified legal and judicial and higher education persons to meet the needs of the job market in relation to this specialization and this level of study.

"Certificate equivalence from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Certificates issued from outside the UAE, A certified copy of the applicant's University transcript, A certified copy of the applicant's University Degree , A copy of identity card, passport, Two recommendation letters from professors, Curriculum Vitae,The student must hold a master's degree with a minimum grade of ""Very Good (3.0 out of 4.0) and a bachelor s degree with a minimum grade of 2.5 out of 4.0 or equivalent from a university, college, or an institute recognized by the Ministry of Education of the UAE. 550 on the TOEFL (PBT) (should be taken inside the university), 79 on the TOEFL (IBT) (outside the university) or 6 on IELTS (Academic). "
