The London School of Film, Media and Design offers the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) by individual research within the areas of expertise of the School's teaching staff. The combination of theoretical and practical research specialisms in the department means we are able and happy to support either written or practice-based PhD work, which could include elements of archival research, film or exhibition practice.
Academic transcripts, A personal statement explaining why you are suitable for the course , Two professional and/or academic references, A copy of your passportcopies of any other supporting documents a good first degree (First Class or Upper Second Class), or equivalent qualification in a relevant field a Masters Degree (MA, MSc, MBA or MRes) with Merit, or equivalent postgraduate or research experience. An IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score of 6.5 (with no element under 6.0).
