Program Overview

We admit about two to three students a year. It is our strategy to keep the program compact so that students in residence receive full attention from the faculty. We encourage students to begin their research from day one. Every incoming student will be assigned a faculty mentor for the first year. We promote research collaboration between students and professors. This is evident in the numerous coauthored publications in recent years. Courses offered vary by semester. Students meet with their mentors or academic area coordinator to discuss their course schedules.
