CFT students are master s level clinicians, and the curriculum is research and theory intensive with some advanced clinical training. The in-residence clinical focus is on developing and testing intervention models and learning clinical models that are evidence-based and can be used in research projects. Major courses are conducted on-site in the University of Iowa College of Education and advanced practica and internship placements are available within the community.
