Students gain advanced knowledge of the effects of chemicals in the environment on human and animal health, and ecosystems, including cardiovascular pharmacology, cancer therapeutics, neuropharmacology, drug discovery and design, neurotoxicology, pulmonary toxicology and environmental toxicology. Students graduate with the qualitative and quantitative skills necessary for professional research and teaching in pharmacology and toxicology. Faculty in Pharmacology and Toxicology have completed the Mentoring at Critical Transitions Program
