Program Overview

To earn your Doctorate in Epidemiology, you ll study mathematical statistics, patho-physiology, epidemiological theory, plus advanced courses in epidemiology and biostatistics. Areas of Dissertation research may include: respiratory epidemiology, injury epidemiology, exposure modeling, occupational disease surveillance, epidemiology of musculoskeletal disorders and occupational cancer epidemiology. One semester of math and one semester of biology with a grade of C or better are required. Courses must be taken during your undergraduate study in order to satisfy the Epidemiology requirements.
