Our graduate programs are designed so that students will not only obtain a broad perspective in advanced mathematics, through a solid foundation of fundamental courses, but also are exposed to the contemporary applications of mathematics in other disciplines. With about 30 graduate courses offered each Fall and Spring semester, not to mention numerous seminars and colloquia, there is always something of interest for everyone. The School of Math offers a comprehensive PhD program in Mathematics, as well as four interdisciplinary PhD programs: Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization (ACO); Computational Sciences and Engineering (CSE); Bioinformatics (BINF); and Quantitative Biosciences (QBios).
