Students in the biophysics option may also be required to take one or more additional courses from Topics in Biophysics, Experimental Methods in Biochemistry and Biophysics, or Advanced Topics in Biophysics to ensure an adequate background for their dissertation research.Except for the courses specified above, the remaining regulations concerning coursework, predissertation qualifying exam and dissertation are the same as those prescribed above for the Ph.D. in Physics.
