The MA and the PhD in Communication Studies are awarded by the Graduate College. Instruction is offered in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. All applicants apply to the PhD program, as there is no terminal MA program. Students may earn their MA along the way, provided they have committee approval and have completed the required number of semester hours of course work. The MA is offered without a thesis.
