Graduates of the Master's degree programs may also be interested in applying for doctoral degree programs, including the Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice, which offers a Terrorism Studies option and advanced courses and research opportunities within the Center for Terrorism and Security Studies. UMass Lowell also offers a Global Studies Ph.D. program, which includes a concentration in Security and Human Rights.
