The first year module called "The Emerging Dance Artist" is a 120-credit course that spans an entire year. It provides you with a solid foundation to build upon as you continue to learn. By placing you at the center of the learning experience, it teaches you the fundamental principles of effective work practices, including dance techniques, choreography, dance-making, cultural identities, collaboration, and independent work. Through a portfolio of learning themes, you'll explore the connections between these different components, gaining an understanding of how they relate to the current dance landscape.
In your second year, you'll delve deeper into specific aspects of dance practices, with four distinct modules that each offer an in-depth focus on a specific area. Together, these modules will help you reflect on what you've learned so far and shape your path forward as you move into year three.
In the final year, you'll build upon your existing knowledge and skills and apply them in a professional context.
A level's with BBC grades. 112 UCAS Tariff Points including GCSE: Grade 4/C in English and Mathematics. BTEC DMM Good grades in IB is accepted. You must have competence in English language to study with us. The most commonly accepted evidence of English language ability is IELTS 6.0 (with minimum 5.5 in all components).
