Software in CAD for Fashion Design

This course will teach you how to digitise CAD drawings for fashion, building on the knowledge that you bring into the course by developing a fashion specific CAD skill set. It is aimed at users who are either aspirant fashion designers or are already practising fashion designers but wish to develop and build on their CAD (computer aided design) skills within the context of fashion drawings. There is no prior learning expected to be in place, however, we do expect that anyone enrolling for this course will already have a basic understanding of technical drawings for fashion. The software used is open source and online, a stable internet connection is a necessity. At the end of this course, you will be able to create digital drawings using appropriate drawing conventions which will communicate garment designs and construction methods.
