This course will introduce you to the various materials and finishes which an interior decorator would use on a day to day basis, and is broken into sections such as wall treatments, flooring treatments and window treatments. Lighting choices, and soft furnishings and upholstery will also be explored. This course is aimed at aspirant interior decorators who have a passion for beautiful things and a flair for creating wonderful spaces. No prior learning is required, however the Introduction to Interior Decorating course is a great way to contextualise this course within the greater world of interior decorating. At the end of this module the student will be able to make informed decisions about material choices and applications on various surfaces, and confidently select lighting and decorative elements.
