Short Course in Thematic Styling and Event Management

Styling is tangible and creates an experience. All that we see, hear, smell, taste and touch. Styling for a particular event makes all the difference to the attendee. To integrate a theme consolidates all elements used in styling the event, providing conversation pieces and memories. This course includes: event analysis and planning, developing mood boards and colour schemes, arranging floor planning and stage setup, lighting, table settings, exhibitions, invitations and ticket sales, and even health and safety concerns. This course is aimed at aspirant event and launch managers and thematic stylists and people who are passionate about creating experiences and celebrations worth remembering. Once you have completed this course you will be able to create and execute themed events, which guests, clients and other stakeholders will remember for being well conceived, planned and executed. You will be equipped to function either as a team member handling large projects, or as a freelance or events co-ordinator managing smaller more intimate events.
